Fong Ling graduated with MSci (Hon) Physiotherapy from King’s College London in 2000, and received her postgraduate Masters in Pain Management from University of Sydney in 2006. She has more than 20 years of experience in the musculoskeletal and pain disciplines, with 8 years working with difficult-to-treat pains, within a multidisciplinary pain clinic in Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
Clinically, Fong Ling has a special interest in spinal and neural pain conditions, and craniofacial-temporomandibular disorders. She has a diverse experience working with different conditions and across the age-groups; from chronic headache and dizziness, to neck and back pain, to thoracic outlet and complex regional pain syndromes.
Professionally, she has wide experiences in training and mentoring students and qualified physiotherapists. She had previously taught pain management, as an adjunct lecturer with the Nanyang Polytechnic Health Sciences (Physiotherapy) from 2010 to 2018; and as a Clinical Practice Facilitator with the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine.
She was mentoring physiotherapists in the community setting between 2018-2021 and was a recipient of the NHG Education Leaders Award 2018. Currently, she conducts short training courses for physiotherapists.
