Ooi Xiang Jing

Senior Physiotherapist

MSc. Musc Physio (Aust) | BSc. Physiotherapy (Hons) (UK) |
SFMA Level 1&2 (USA)

Xiang Jing is an UK and Australian trained Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist. He graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University with First Class Honours. As a firm believer in continual learning, he obtained his Master of Advanced Clinical Physiotherapy (Musculoskeletal) from the University of South Australia in 2023.

Prior to joining the private setting, Xiang Jing worked at Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH), where he had a wide exposure in treating patients with a variety of clinical conditions such as post-operative, trauma, chronic pain, musculoskeletal and sports related injuries. His area of interest are in the management of chronic pain, shoulder, back, knee and neck injuries as well as post-operative rehabilitation.

He has worked closely with the multi-disciplinary team in Pain Management Clinic in TTSH in order to provide the best care for patients suffering from complex chronic pain conditions. Xiang Jing was also trained in a new model of patient care in which physiotherapists see patients prior to seeing an orthopedic specialist at the hospital. This has allowed patients quicker access to help and therefore quicker recovery times. He has also served as a clinical consultant in this role to mentor junior therapists.

Xiang Jing is also certified in Selective Functional Movement Screening (SFMA), a movement based diagnostic system which systematically finds the cause of the pain and not just the source.

Outside of the clinic, Xiang Jing enjoys listening to podcasts on personal growth and a cup of flat white when not working out in the gym or going on long runs.
